My name is Tracy Moton, I am 37 years old. I am very outgoing and like to be in a positive environment.
You can expect me to give you my all. I am very dedicated to my work and love to work with a team to deliver quality on schedule. I uphold a consistent positive attitude and work well with others. I am not afraid of working long hours, which is inevitable in this business.
I work well as an individual with little or no supervision but also love working with a group who thrives on sharing ideas and works cohesively as a team.
I have been a Graphic Designer at CCH, a Tax and Accounting software business, for over 12 years, currently in the Sales and Marketing Department.
I began my career at CCH in the Graphics Department as an Elixir / Ventura Operator. Elixir is a form draw program and Ventura is the text layout program that CCH used for publications and manuals. Due to downsizing, staff layoffs occurred, it was then that my responsibilities grew into Primary Designer for CCH Tax products. In this position I am responsible for creating print design materials for various departments and events. With some design classes, a lot of self-determination and a natural talent for design, I became savvy at both PC and Mac-based design programs. I currently attend Santa Monica City College, working towards a BA in Graphic Design.
With my experience at CCH, I have also become more knowledgeable of the entire graphic production process and became assistant print manager running high-end printers such as The Xerox Docutech and DocuColor. I have the ability to coordinate, design, print, meet tight deadlines, and establish end results by coordinating timelines with Vendors and Project Managers.
I love spending time with my family and when time permits, I love to play guitar, video editing and do my best to fit a workout routine in my schedule. Last but definitely not least, I have a love for my Mac and always find the time to be creative with it.
To obtain a degree in design, as I pursue my career as a front-end Sr. Print Designer that will eventually blossom into a Creative Print Design Leader. I am looking to join a creative team who will welcome my enthusiasm and willingness to learn and share ideas.
